Celeste | The Road to Purgation Golden Strawberry

TUH RUH TUH PUH First ever golden of this map, my 2nd hardest golden ever, damn this was fucking hard 😭 This map is like... really good. Like actually insanely good for clearing it. Golden is a different story. Learning the actual hard part of the map (mostly just 7-end) was probably some of the most fun I've ever had in celeste. Going for 5-end was also really fun. And at first, attempts were also incredibly fun! But then I started mindblocking pre r5 HARD. In my first arc it got so bad that I was genuinely not having any fun at all, so I ended up taking a break from celeste (and I ended up getting into the binding of isaac (i'm actually pretty close to dead god now damn this game is fun)) After about a month, I started to get back into celeste. And within like 4 days I managed to get past room 7, which is the biggest chokepoint of the map. In arc 1 getting past r7 was INCREDIBLY rare. And in arc 2 I just started getting past it really often, and after 3 final room runs that all died to the same input in the exact same way, I just got the golden??? I'm still genuinely shocked lol Anyway very good map, golden is like also pretty good if you're capable of not mindblocking 1-4 Enjoyment - 7/10 Deaths - 35741 Time - 136:08:19
