Year One begins with a simple goal: establish food, secure logistics, and grow the village fast enough to reach Medium Village before winter. Commentary is freestyle, talking through decisions, reacting to events, and explaining the strategy behind each build.
We start with the basics — logging, foraging, hunting, and early storage — before placing the first burgage plots and pushing toward Small Village. As approval rises, the village expands with a well, fuel production, and more housing. The Church and Market stabilize the settlement, while the Trading Post opens the door to early regional wealth.
By mid‑year, upgrades begin, the Wood wright perk unlocks, and the Joinery extension comes online. The year finishes strong with shield trading and the milestone of reaching Medium Village.
A calm, progression‑focused Year One with commentary guiding every major decision.
