Cameo 452 A Cameo Dance Orchestra REMEMB'RING

Description: “Rememb’ring” is a sentimental popular dance tune from the 1923 Broadway musical Topsy and Eva, associated with the Duncan Sisters. The Cameo Dance Orchestra's instrumental rendition reflects the polished dance-band style of the early 1920s, featuring a nostalgic melody and gentle, flowing rhythms characteristic of the period's popular foxtrots. Release Date: Early 1924. Recorded December 19, 1923, and issued on Cameo 452, backed with Arthur Lange and His Orchestra's “Down the Road to Yesterday.” The recording offers a charming example of the popular theatrical melodies adapted for ballroom dancing during the Roaring Twenties.
