Gerritt Is On His Own… Aug 28 2026

This young wild horse was pushed out of Eight and Honey’s band more than a month ago. They may have allowed him to stay around, but with water becoming harder to find, there simply isn’t enough to go around. We saw the same thing happening with Ridge, their yearling. Neither Eight nor Honey was allowing him to water either. Currently Ridge is in the wind. All we can do is hope these young bachelors found some other bachelors to run with — and, more importantly, a better water source. The range can be beautiful, but sometimes the stories it tells are hard ones. I’ll be watching the next videos closely. Maybe they’ll tell us where Gerritt went and if Ridge found a buddy.
