Khazad-dûm Closes Its Gate: The Fall of Eregion | FAN FILM | Tolkien Power Metal

The West-gate of Khazad-dûm stood open for a thousand years. Dwarves and Elves of Eregion traded, built and forged side by side, and a young dwarf smith named Frár fought beside an Elf of Eregion as a brother in arms. Then Sauron's host came over the hills, Ost-in-Edhil burned, and the Dwarves of Durin marched out to strike the rear of the Dark Lord's army. When the retreat reached the mountain, the doors had to close. FROZEN EMBER ETUDE is an epic power metal song set in the Second Age of Middle-earth: the War of the Elves and Sauron, the sack of Eregion, and the day Durin's Folk shut the Doors of Durin. Stomping drums, a deep dwarven choir and a story from Tolkien's legendarium (The Silmarillion, Of the Rings of Power; The Lord of the Rings, Appendix A). For fans of Blind Guardian, Iced Earth, Nightwish, Rhapsody of Fire, Hammerfall, Sabaton and Tolkien metal in general.
