Akallabêth: How Sauron Doomed Númenor | FAN FILM | Tolkien Power Metal

Númenor was the greatest kingdom of Men, and its people still looked west toward the Undying Lands. Then Sauron came to Númenor in chains and rose to be the king's counsellor. The White Tree was felled, the temple fires were lit, and Ar-Pharazôn the Golden built the Great Armament to take the Undying Lands by force. One sea-captain wore the king's golden sun. On the night the fleet sailed, he had to choose between his king and his family. DOMINION OF GODS is an epic power metal song about the Akallabêth, the Downfall of Númenor: Sauron's deceit, the Great Armament, the landing on the shores of Aman, the chasm in the sea, the great wave, and the Faithful who escaped to Middle-earth. A full choir, a soaring guitar solo and a story from Tolkien's legendarium (The Silmarillion, Akallabêth). For fans of Blind Guardian, Iced Earth, Nightwish, Rhapsody of Fire, Hammerfall, Sabaton and Tolkien metal in general. 0:00 Prologue 0:28 The Tombs of the Kings 1:12 Sauron Comes to Númenor 1:27 The White Tree 2:00 The Great Armament 2:17 The Faithful 2:53 The Fleet Sails West 3:07 The Shores of Aman 3:26 The Chasm in the Sea 3:42 The Flight of the Nine Ships 4:07 The Downfall of Númenor 4:38 Landfall in Middle-earth Previous tale: Khazad-dûm Closes Its Gate, the fall of Eregion:    • Khazad-dûm Closes Its Gate: The Fall of Er...   Fingolfin vs Morgoth:    • Fingolfin vs Morgoth: The Duel at Angband ...   If the chorus got you, subscribe: more tales from the Elder Days are coming.
