Most people come here for the shops. The building itself is the reason to stay. Step inside and the atrium asks you to look up: a curved canyon, narrowing floor by floor. Not the biggest atrium in Shanghai. The strangest one. Outside, the facade doesn't read as a mall either — terracotta volumes, sanded round, barely a right angle in sight.
