Under the proposed system, police officers will stop routinely checking drivers' documents at the roadside less often, with cameras taking a greater role in identifying traffic violations. 📸 Cameras will be used to detect offences such as: 🚗 Driving without valid insurance 🪑 Failure to wear a seatbelt 🚦 Other traffic violations captured on camera Police will review the recorded footage, and motorists who are found to have violated traffic regulations could receive fines electronically on their phones.
