The Prodigal Comes Home A Christian song inspired by the beautiful parable of the Prodigal Son in Luke 15:11–32. This is a story of a son who wandered far from home, believing he had lost everything perhaps even believing he no longer deserved to be called a son. But his father had never stopped watching for him. While he was still a long way off, his father saw him, ran to him, threw his arms around him and welcomed him home. What a wonderful picture of God’s grace. ❤️ Sometimes we may feel that we have wandered too far, made too many mistakes, or been away from God for too long. But His love is greater than the distance we have travelled. The road home is always there. And perhaps the most beautiful part of the story is this: The son walked home expecting judgement but found his Father’s arms waiting for him. “For this son of mine was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.” Luke 15:24 May this song remind anyone who feels far from God that you are never beyond His mercy. Turn your footsteps homeward. The Father is still watching the road. ❤️ Written by Susan Scotter Music created with Suno AI 🙏 God bless everyone who listens.
