The Form - Gone with the Storm Wind - Part 4 - Woodartist Wednesdays

The topic of this video has been hidden underground for dozens of years – the natural curve of a spruce root – the FORM. That’s what we start discovering – more roughly in this episode! When we got all the root elements dried, we planed each of them and then started sawing them, little by little. We used circular saw, band saw and handheld tools, depending on the root and how it wanted to be treated 😊 As everyone who has been to a sauna knows, one of the crucial elements of a truly enjoyable sauna experience is a nice seat. It all comes down to the angle in which the backrest meets the bench so that you can actually sit in a comfortable position and relax.
