Praise Power Matt Turner

✨ ABOUT THIS SONG ✨ I was reminiscing on the testimony of a young nurse I read about years ago who, having finished a late shift, was heading home on foot in the early hours of the morning when she was attacked by a would-be rapist. As he pushed her to the ground and overpowered her, she tried to call on Psalm 91 and all that came out was "I'm covered in feathers, I'm covered in feathers!" Yes He truly does cover us: Ps 91 V 4 states, "He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart." The guy jumped off her and ran screaming away. He was later arrested by police, and upon being questioned about why he ran away, he said that when she cried out about feathers, he thought that she had a horrendous contagious disease, and great fear came upon him. God is incredible! This song is a reminder of the fact that we walk with God, and His light, love, presence and protection shield us against the attacks of the enemy or whatever challenges come our way.
