Move to Tokyo... how much does it actually cost?

In this vlog, I look back at three chapters of my life in Tokyo — month 1, month 5, and month 10 — from the initial expenses of moving abroad to finding a rhythm, and eventually choosing what kind of life I want to build, after 12 years of New York and 10 years in tech. Rent, groceries, takeaways, transportation, Japanese school, moving costs, and all the tiny things in between. Some things cost more than I expected. Others became surprisingly simple.
