ALL SAINTS DAY: LET THE SAINTS PRAY WITH YOU | Powerful Gregorian Chants
On the Feast of All Saints, heaven opens before us. Close your eyes, lift up your heart, and let these original Gregorian chants carry you to the great celebration of the Church in glory.
Sung in Latin by monks and nuns whose voices alternate from chant to chant, these bright, peaceful melodies follow the visions of the Book of Revelation like a liturgy of heaven: the countless multitude in white robes with palms in their hands, the thrice-holy song of the Seraphim, the elders laying their crowns before the throne, the sea of glass and the harps of God, the robes made white by the Lamb, the Virgin Mary in the midst of the Saints, the wedding feast of the Lamb, the vision of God's face, and the great Alleluia that sounds like many waters.
November 1st is the Solemnity of All Saints. The Saints are men and women who walked our same road and now stand before God, rejoicing in His presence. They pray for us, and every grace we ask through them comes from God alone, who is wonderful in His Saints. Their feast is a feast of light, and a promise of where we are called to go.
Let these chants accompany your prayer of praise, your Rosary, the Litany of the Saints, your reading of Scripture, or the quiet hours of rest.
Bring your praise, even if your voice is small.
Bring the saint whose name you carry.
Bring your tiredness, and let heaven sing for you.
Bring your hope of seeing God's face.
Bring your desire to stand one day among the Saints.
Perfect for:
Prayer and praise
All Saints' Day celebration
Meditation and contemplation
Sleep and relaxation
Study and quiet reading
Catholic reflection and worship
May all the Saints of God pray for you, and may the Lord one day clothe you in white and welcome you to the feast of heaven. Amen.

FINAL PRAYER:
Holy God, before Your throne stands a multitude that no one can count, clothed in white robes, with palms in their hands, singing Your praise without end. They were pilgrims as we are, and Your grace made them shine like the sun. Holy Mary, Queen of All Saints, and all you Saints of God, pray for us, that our whole life may become a song of praise. Lord Jesus, Lamb of God, wash our hearts and clothe us in Your light, so that one day we may join the great feast of heaven and see Your face. To You be glory for ever. Amen.
LYRICS:
“Stolis Albis Amícti – Turba Innúmera”
(Antiphona)
Post haec vidi Sanctos Dei,
stolis albis amíctos,
et palmae in mánibus eórum
fulgébant sicut sol.
(Hymnus)
Quis númerum dicet
Sanctórum tuórum, Dómine?
Sicut stellae caeli,
sicut arena maris.
(Processio)
Véniunt ab ortu et occásu,
ab aquilóne et austro,
et accúmbunt in regno
cum Patre suo.
(Versus)
Candídi facti sunt — allelúia.
Splendor in vúltibus — allelúia.
Gáudium in córdibus — allelúia.
(Meditatio)
Hi erant sicut nos,
peregríni in terra;
nunc stant in glória
et non esúriunt ámplius.
(Responsorium)
Clamant voce magna — Salus Deo nostro.
Cadunt in fácies suas — et adórant.
Lumen eórum Dóminus — in aetérnum.
(Invocatio)
Sancti in stolis albis,
qui iam tenétis palmas,
oráte pro frátribus
qui labórant in terra.
(Oratio)
Deus, glória Sanctórum,
qui eos vestísti lúmine,
da nobis, eórum précibus,
vestem nuptiálem grátiae.
(Laus)
Cantáte Deo, turba cándida,
cantáte nomen eius,
quia vos elégit
et vestívit glória.
(Doxologia)
Glória Patri, splendóri Sanctórum,
glória Fílio, qui lavit stolas eórum,
glória Spirítui Sancto
in saécula saeculórum.
Amen.
