Nothing Can Separate Me From the Love of God | Morning Declaration Prayer

Start your morning by standing on the most unshakeable ground in all of creation — the love of God — and declaring with the full weight of Romans 8 behind you that nothing in heaven, nothing on earth, nothing in your past, nothing in your future, nothing you have done, and nothing that has been done to you can ever, under any circumstances, cut you off from the love that God has for you in Christ Jesus. This is a powerful morning declaration prayer for anyone who woke up today feeling unworthy, forgotten, too far gone, or simply unsure whether God still loves them — and needs to be anchored again in the truth that His love is not conditional, not seasonal, and not something you can lose. This prayer is for the person carrying shame so heavy they have started to believe God must be disappointed in them. For the one who has failed so many times they have quietly begun to wonder if God's patience has finally run out. For the believer who is walking through a season so dark and so painful that it does not feel like the life of someone God loves. For the retiree looking back over a long life with more regrets than they know what to do with. For the grandparent who loves their grandchildren so fiercely it sometimes frightens them — and needs to be reminded that God loves them with an intensity that makes even the deepest human love look like a shadow. We will pray together and declare boldly that neither death nor life, neither angels nor principalities, neither things present nor things to come, neither height nor depth, nor any other created thing shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. We will declare it over depression, over shame, over loss, over failure, over fear, over every voice that has ever told us we are not enough, not loved, not wanted, not chosen. You are loved.
