We Finally Ordered Our New Kitchen... Then The Road Was Closed! | TDM238

We FINALLY ordered our new kitchen from Wickes in King's Lynn, Norfolk! 🥩🚐 But our Saturday trip in the old VW T4 campervan took an unexpected turn when we encountered a road closure, police and fire engines on the journey home! It's a freezing cold October Saturday, and Mrs Meat and I are heading out in the trusty 24-year-old VW T4 campervan, the Meat Wagon, to make some final decisions about our new kitchen. After weeks of planning and decorating at the homestead, we've finally chosen our new Wickes Milton Sage Green kitchen, complete with a Chalet Oak worktop and matching upstands. With installation planned for November, the kitchen makeover is finally coming together! With the kitchen ordered, we head to Asda in King's Lynn for a spot of lunch, where we discover some surprisingly tasty Cornish bakery steak slices and sausage rolls. Proper food, campers! But the journey home doesn't quite go to plan. Heavy rain, police, fire engines, traffic turning around and an unexpected road closure mean we're taking a different route home through King's Lynn. Back at the homestead, Bruno and Maggie are enjoying a lazy afternoon while I'm putting the finishing touches to my brand new feature-length Northumberland road trip film for the Meat Manifesto channel. We finish the day with another little drive in the Meat Wagon, a beautiful autumn sunset and a cheeky trip to Aldi with Mrs Meat.
