Patrulla Quijote & OV-10B Bronco | Duxford Summer Airshow 2026 (Saturday)

Displays by the Patrulla Quijote Skymaster pair making their UK debut and the Bronco Demo Team's OV-10B Bronco solo display on Saturday of the 2026 Duxford Summer Airshow. The Spain-based duo are an unusual sight in UK skies and were among many different American aircraft types which attended this year. The two aircraft are ex-Portuguese Air Force, French-built Reims-Cessna FTB335G Super Skymasters, they are painted to represent Vietnam-era USAF O-2 Skymasters. The team was formed in 2022 after both aircraft had spent years in storage since retirement in 2007, they were then acquired by the Fundación Aeronáutica Antonio Quintana (FAAQ) and are now registered as EC-IPL (ex-FAP3719) and EC-MYM (ex-FAP3723). They are based at Cuatro Vientos near Madrid and after retirement from Portuguese service, they were acquired by a Spanish company which intended to use them to help in the tuna fishing business in the Mediterranean. The Bronco Display Team is a regular on the UK airshow circuit and hardly needs any introduction, the team is based at Wevelgem in Belgium and the aircraft is flown by Tony de Bruyn and has already flown at many shows around the UK and Europe this season.
