The Last 100km of the Camino Frances | Portomarin Palas de Rei to Arzua

Continue along the final 100 km of the Camino Francés, walking from Portomarín through Palas de Rei and on towards Arzúa on the Camino de Santiago. This journey combines several stages of the Camino through the beautiful countryside of Galicia, following ancient paths through forests, farmland, tiny villages and rolling green landscapes on the way towards Santiago de Compostela. The Camino between Portomarín, Palas de Rei and Arzúa offers a wonderful look at rural Galicia. Along the trail are traditional farms and plenty of animals, including goats, horses and cattle. One particularly special encounter is a tiny newborn calf, born only minutes earlier! This route passes through Palas de Rei before continuing towards Arzúa, one of the final major stops on the Camino Francés before Santiago de Compostela.
