Walking the Camino de Santiago was supposed to go according to plan. It did not. This is Chapter 2 of our Camino de Santiago journey — covering Days 2 through 7 on the Camino Francés, from Roncesvalles to Logroño, Spain. What started as an incredible pilgrimage through the Spanish countryside quickly became one of the most challenging weeks of our lives. Exhaustion, sickness, a hotel room in Pamplona during the Running of the Bulls festival, and a goodbye we weren't fully prepared for — this is the honest version of what the Camino looks like when things don't go to plan.
