Otumfuo Observes the 6th Akwasidae Festival (Akwasidae Tuntum / Kuntunkuni Dae)

On Sunday, August 17, 2025, His Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, Asantehene, observed the 6th Akwasidae Festival marked as “Akwasidae Tuntum” (Kuntunkuni Dae) at the Manhyia Palace in Kumasi. This solemn observance was dedicated to honoring the memory of the late Nana Konadu Yiadom III, Asantehemaa. In attendance were Nananom of the Asante Kingdom, members of the Royal Family, the Ashanti Regional Security Council (REGSEC), and other distinguished guests who gathered to pay their respects.
