Pere Marquette 1225: North Pole Express 2019 (Christmas 2019 & 1K Special)

Merry Christmas to all those who celebrate it & Happy Holidays! For this years Christmas video, instead of doing an update, we decided a while ago to feature our last chase for the Christmas video with a message. And what better Chase then of the Real Polar express! This is also our 1K subscriber special, a Big Thank you to all those who have supported us, and gave us 1K subscribers! Christmas Message 1:23 Getting the Train Ready 2:36 10 AM Excursion 24:11 5 PM 55:44 After the charter this year, as usually we wanted to come back out and see the Pere Marquette 1225. And initially in February a leak on Railevents published a 50th Anniversary Excursion which got us excited, about a rare mileage trip to Cadillac! We have been planning that chase for years! And guess what was the same weekend as that? The once in a lifetime 611 event, and guess what we picked? Regret it? Kinda, but at the same time we have all accepted 1225 will go to Cadillac again, but it will be a while before 611 comes to Strasburg. So we planned on this year coming back out for the last North Pole Express for a few reason. Hopefully snow, Barney puts on a show, and to end the year the same way we started it! What made the weekend better was the Guest Steamboat whistle as we are, fans of that type of whistle, although Ironically 1225 whistle is actually one of our favorites. We also found out a whole bunch of people, JacksonAndLansingRailroad, Michigan Rail Productions, ProRail, A-Train 4014 Productions & Santafe669. And there were many more who don't have YouTube. When we all met up at our first location, it really was the "Great Gathering in Owosso part 2" But in the morning Dan Pluta Ran putting on an excellent show, and in the evening Barney ran putting on a great show as well. Fact the evening shot just outside of Bannister was the loudest we've ever heard 1225. Evening light was just as good as morning! It was a fun day, with Santafe699 joining for the entire ride & A-Train4014 Productions joining in for the evening. Speaking of which Thank you A-Train4014 crew for the lighting at night. This was one of our favorite chases with the 1225 and a great way to close the decade!
