Boston-born, Brooklyn-based drummer and composer Lee Fish leads his all-star Friends ensemble through "2½," an original composition live at the Newton Piano Summit 2026 — a distilled blend of jazz, soul, and folk, with Fish's dextrous, groove-anchored drumming at the center. Joining Fish is Prague-born pianist Jiří "Niri" Nedoma, whose award-winning career spans the Montreux Jazz Festival, Jordan Hall, and Smalls; versatile Boston bassist Max Ridley, a graduate of the Berklee Global Jazz Institute under Danilo Pérez whose credits include the Blue Note, Dizzy's Club at Lincoln Center, and the Kennedy Center; and Puerto Rican saxophonist and arranger Edmar Colón, a Berklee Presidential Scholarship recipient whose orchestrating work has touched Grammy-recognized projects including Esperanza Spalding's 12 Little Spells. ▶ Newton Piano Summit Full Playlist:    • Плейлист   Performers: Lee Fish – drums Jiří "Niri" Nedoma – keyboards Max Ridley – bass Edmar Colón – saxophones "2½" composed by Lee Fish, dedicated to Alaysa Production Crew: Director of Photography: Ken Willinger Cameras: Steve Sherrick, Chris Pitts Audio Recording: Patrick Meany Mixing and Mastering: James Zaner Producer/Editor: Chris Pitts – Next-Arts Special Thanks: Talamas Executive Producers: Next-Arts, Village Bank, Newton Cultural Council, Massachusetts Cultural Council, SparkNewton, Charles River Neighborhood Foundation The Newton Piano Summit is recorded with support from LexMedia and Lexington Community Media Center. 🌐 www.newtonpianosummit.org #newtonpianosummit #newtonculturalcouncil #newtonpiano #lexmedia #LeeFish #LeeFishAndFriends #JiriNedoma #MaxRidley #EdmarColon #JazzDrums #JazzComposer #OriginalJazz #LiveJazz #NewtonPianoSummit #NewtonMA #BerkleeCollegeOfMusic #JazzConcert #JazzPerformance #LiveMusic #BostonJazz #NewYorkJazz #ContemporaryJazz #SparkNewton #NextArts
