Module 4 – Navigating Intimacy, Body Image, and Mental Health in Young Breast Cancer Survivorship.
Description:
This session addresses the emotional, psychological, and sexual health challenges commonly experienced by young breast cancer survivors. Presenters will explore how treatment-related changes—including premature menopause, altered body image, intimacy concerns, and mood symptoms—affect identity, relationships, and overall well-being. Attendees will learn practical strategies to recognize distress, initiate sensitive conversations, and support survivors through adjustment, anxiety, depression, and grief.
