Welcome to Polish Verbs #1: Verb Conjugation! In this lesson, we will learn how Polish verbs work in the present and past tenses, including the different conjugation patterns and endings you need to know. We will also introduce one of the most important aspects of Polish grammar: perfective and imperfective verbs. You'll learn what these two verb aspects mean, how they differ, and when to use each one. I am an American who has spent the last 8 years learning Polish and have lived the past 4 years living in Poland. I also hold a Master's degree in Polish Philology from a Polish University. This series combines my perspectives as a foreign learner with formal study of the Polish language to make the most difficult parts of Polish grammar easier to understand.
