Welcome to Polish Cases #5: Narzędnik (Instrumental) — Singular & Plural + Prepositions & Pronouns! In this lesson, we will continue the Polish case system by learning the singular and plural endings of nouns and adjectives in the Narzędnik. We will also learn prepositions as well as personal pronouns used in the Narzędnik. The Narzędnik in Polish is used when using something as an instrument/tool in order to accomplish the verb, when using something as a mode of transportation, when saying something IS something, and with certain verbs and prepositions. I am an American who has spent the last 8 years learning Polish and have lived the past 4 years living in Poland. I also hold a Master's degree in Polish Philology from a Polish University. This series combines my perspectives as a foreign learner with formal study of the Polish language to make the most difficult parts of Polish grammar easier to understand.
