HAJIYA FATIMA BAGO EMPOWERS 1,000 EDATI RESIDENTS WITH ₦100M GRASSROOTS SUPPORT

The Wife of the Niger State Governor, Hajiya Fatima Umaru Bago, has empowered 1,000 men and women across the 10 wards of Edati Local Government Area with a ₦100 million Mega Empowerment Programme aimed at strengthening local businesses, improving livelihoods and creating sustainable opportunities for families at the grassroots. Under the initiative, each ward received ₦10 million, with beneficiaries receiving ₦100,000 each to boost their businesses, enhance self-reliance and improve their economic well-being. The programme, held in Enagi, attracted enthusiastic commendation from residents, who described the intervention as a timely demonstration of concern for the people as Chairman of Edati Local Government, Hon. Adamu Usman Ndana, expressed appreciation to Hajiya Fatima Bago for the gesture, while the Niger State APC Deputy Chairman, Alhaji Ahmed Yamini, alongside other local government chairmen, commissioners, former commissioners and other dignitaries, attended the event.
