FINALE! The Japanese Underground is Taking Over, and the Power Struggle Continues! Yakuza 0 #15

We couldn't save Tachibana... Last stream, we were playing as Kiryu and we had just gotten Makimura to the homeless encampments to keep her safe until Tachibana could find us. The only problem was Tachibana wasn't answering any of our calls so we needed to go and find him. We decided to try Little Asia, and when we got there, an informant brought us to the local doctors where Tachibana was getting another dialysis treatment. He explained to Kiryu everything that was actually going on, and that we needed to get to Makimura, but when we were about to leave, we were ambushed by Dojima men! We took them all out and left the building. Unfortunately when we went outside, we were ambushed by a mainland mafia hitman by the name of Lao Gui, a disgusting looking freak of a man who put two bullets in Kiryu, almost completely immobilizing him! Lao was actually there for Tachibana, and after careful consideration, Tachibana went willingly with Gui so that Kiryu could make his escape. Gui had been hired by the Dojima family to capture Tachibana so that the others could torture him into revealing where Makimura was. It's also thought that Lao Gui was the one who was hired to complete the hit at the beginning of the game, the one that framed Kiryu! Kiryu awoke, patched up in the same doctor's office where it all went down at, and Elder Chen was sitting there waiting for us to wake up. He revealed more of the family history of Tachibana and Makimura and how their families came to be in Japan and how they got involved in this Yakuza turf war. We were thankful for the help from Chen, but it was time to leave to try to find Tachibana before it was too late! When we stepped outside of Little Asia, we were immediately confronted by more Dojima family, and Nishiki was there with them! They threatened to kill us, but before the battle went down, Nishiki actually flipped sides and decided to join our cause as no matter what happened in the past, we were still oath brothers! Idk if we can really trust Nishiki, but for the meantime, it looks like he's gonna help us out. We took all the dudes out and returned to Makimura to make sure she was still safe and let her know what was going on. Back at the homeless encampments, we called Chen to let him know what happened, and he informed us that he knew where Tachibana was taken to. They were torturing him in a building right next to the empty lot, so we booked it straight there to save him. Unfortunately, it was too late as one of the Dojima dudes lost his mind and clocked Tachibana in the skull with a sledgehammer. We had to fight all the goons as well as Kuze who was there. After taking everyone out, we tried to tend to Tachibana and get Makimura over so that the two of them could finally meet again, but it was far too late and Tachibana had passed away. Before he died, he told us that Kuze had revealed that Dojima was responsible for most all of this, that he has been trying to drive Kazama out of the family so that he could become the next Tojo chairman. This is why they set Kiryu up in the first place, to tarnish Kazama's reputation! Tachibana also told us that someone from within the Tojo Clan is working with Omi to try to sell the Empty Lot to the Omi, also in an effort to assume control over the Tojo Clan! It's starting to get really power vacuum-ee in here! Makimura was finally able to meet her brother again, but not under the circumstances she would've hoped... We then picked it up as Majima once again, now in Kamurocho with Sagawa looking to kill Makimura. The only lead we had was the Tachibana Real Estate card, so we went to the last known area where some Tachibana associates might've been at, but they too hadn't seen anyone from Tachibana Real Estate for a while. As we were leaving the area, we got harassed by some Shimano family dudes. They said their boss wanted to talk to us regarding Makimura. When we went to meet the dude, Futoshi Shimano, he told us that everything was basically his plan. He picked Majima to kill Makimura because he knew that Majima wouldn't and instead he would keep her safe. This would buy Shimano time to get all his ducks in a row before he began his full takeover of the Tojo Clan, as well as build trust with Makimura so that maybe Majima would be able to convince to sell the plot of land with no issue. Shimano tells us that we no longer need to kill Makimura, and that we only need to bring her back to Shimano and get her to sell the Empty Lot. Shimano tell us to start by finding Nishiki who would then lead us to Kiryu who has Makimura. We went to the Kazama family HQ, but Nishiki wasn't there. After cracking a few heads, they told us to try the Serena bar instead, and that's where we're heading next.
