While most people have no idea who Edward Kimball is, literally millions of lives which have been touched or transformed because of him. So how did that happen? Upon arriving in Boston, a kid by the name of Dwight was befriended by Kimball, a Sunday School teacher, who took a real interest in him. Kimball later described the youngster as having a “spiritually darkened mind.” But nonetheless Kimball decided to visit young Dwight at work. While there Kimball felt the urge to share the Gospel with the young man. And the young man responded to the simple Gospel message. Today, that young man, Dwight L Moody is known throughout the world as a great evangelist, who is considered the father of modern mass evangelism.
