VIDEO CONTENTS:

[2:22] Making the homemade blanks
[8:04] comparing the two homemade doughnuts
[8:57] Presoaking the yarn doughnuts in plain tap water
[9:40] Setting up the dyebath: 16 cups of water, 39 drops blue, 6 drops pink, 12 drops of red, 1 drop black
Mix well
Add 8 more cups of water - 24 cups total
[11:59] Adding the yarn doughnuts to the completley cool dyebath
Add 8 more cups of water - 32 cups water
[14:23] when the dyebath is at a simmer, start adding vinegar slowly.
1/4 cup of vinegar. (~4 T white vinegar)
[17:08] 15 min after adding vingar, Add 1/4 cup more vinegar (8 T vinegar in 32 cups water)
[19:14] 1 hr later. Chat and add 1/2 cup more vinegar
[22:52] After 30 min, turn off the heat and let the yarn doughnuts cool in the dyebath
[23:23] Unrolling the blanks
[27:32] washing the blanks
[28:29] The finished dry blanks
[30:54] The unraveled yarn, comparisons, and conclusions
