Settle a racing mind and return to the quiet support of your body with this approximately eight-hour somatic Yoga Nidra sleep meditation. DOWNLOAD a free MP3 guided meditation: https://www.darma.studio/guided-medit... ✨ If you've spent the day holding yourself together, tonight can be different. You don't need to solve every thought or make yourself feel a certain way. Let the surface beneath you take your weight. Let your breath arrive gently. There is room here to soften, just as you are. We begin with a gentle story of Krishna and a peacock feather—a reflection on the quiet presence beneath our changing thoughts, feelings, and moods. From there, you'll be guided into comforting hand placement, unforced breathing, and a heartfelt intention, or sankalpa. The practice continues through a slow body scan, breath awareness, a gentle countdown, and contrasting sensations of lightness and grounding. Nature imagery invites you to rest with the support of the earth, the spaciousness of the sky, and the warmth of a quiet inner refuge. This listen-all-night edition runs for approximately 7 hours and 59 minutes. After the opening practice, a short poetic reflection on the feather and its changing colors repeats over the soundscape, offering a familiar thread to rest with through the night. The opening story and body scan do not restart each time. You do not need to stay awake or follow every word. The opening scene gradually fades to a black screen by about two minutes, while the audio continues, so you can listen without a bright screen beside you. This session may support: • Softening the feeling of being tense or on guard • Settling a busy mind before sleep • Resting with breath and gentle body awareness • A sense of grounding, spaciousness, and emotional ease • A quieter bedtime routine and unhurried rest Listen at a soft, comfortable volume while lying down or resting in a supported position. Let the breathing remain easy, and adjust or skip any instruction that doesn't feel comfortable. There is no need to concentrate, visualize perfectly, or finish the practice.
