20 Years Forgotten: What Happened to This Nottinghamshire Road?

How did this Busy Road become so Apocolyptic? Abandoned Ghost Road Cauldwell Road on the outskirts of Mansfield in Nottinghamshire has been abandoned for 20 years. Once a busy road between Mansfield and Sutton in Ashfield, Cauldwell Road now sits almost dormant and forgotten in places with no future at all. Amongst the trees and woodland also hides a short section like something from an apocolyptic future. You could easily imagine zombies from the walking dead dawdling down this old section of abandoned road. Join me as i walk aong Cauldwell Road and take a look at its condition 20 years after closure and why its abandoned too.
