Great Atmosphere and FLAT (ISH) 🏃‍♂️ | Armley Parkrun POV Experience

This week's parkrun comes from Armley Park in Leeds. This was a last minute substitution as, half way to the parkrun I was planning I realised I had forgotten my camera - I know, I know. There's a saying for this scenario and I am sure it ends with "end". Anyway... I have ran Armley quite a few time so I know what to expect. It's a great atmosphere and flat (ish) - it's flatter than I remember and certainly flat for Leeds. If I was being picky I would say it has a gradual incline at the start of each lap. It's three and a bit laps of Armley Park ran on a mixture of tarmac and grass. We are getting towards the time of year where trail shoes might be worth a consideration. There's street parking, a nearby mini retail park and parking available by the park - this is very limited though so arrive in good time. As for the run itself, I felt great today and was a lot quicker than in previous weeks, possibly due to the lack of inclines. I finished with a time of 25:28 and a top ten age finish too.
