🔥 My last rice video split you into two camps. Here's who was right.
➡️ THE LONGEVITY FACTORY➡️ • Secrets of a 100-Year Life
A few weeks ago I told you Japan eats rice every day and still outlives almost everyone on Earth. The comments split straight down the middle: half said rice is fine, always has been, the other half said it's exactly the problem. You were both right, and both missing it.
I spent years eating more rice than almost anyone reading this, out of a military-issue bag stamped "for prison and military consumption only," buried in butter and salt, and it nearly wrecked my health. Meanwhile centenarians in Japan and Singapore eat rice every day of their lives and are still working, walking, and outliving their own doctors. Same grain. The difference was never the rice itself, it's what surrounds it: the quality of the grain, what it's paired with, and how much of the plate it's allowed to take over.
None of this makes rice a magic longevity food. Genetics, activity level, and your overall diet pattern still matter more than any single ingredient.
What Actually Matters When You Eat Rice:
• Never eat it alone, pair it with a protein, a healthy fat, or a fermented or fibrous food every time
• Cook it in excess water like pasta and drain it, this cuts arsenic content far more than rinsing ever does
• Keep it as a supporting player on the plate, not the main event
• Slow down and stop around 80% full, hara hachi bu, and give your brain the 15-20 minutes it needs to catch up with your stomach.
This channel is built on real longevity patterns gathered from decades living among the world's longest-living communities. If you want to know which habits are worth keeping, and which just sound healthy, you're in the right place.
If this actually changes how you eat tonight, that's the whole point of this channel, hit subscribe and stick around for more of it.
There's a lot more waiting for you here if getting real, usable answers instead of one-size-fits-all food rules matters to you.
Comment and tell me, before this video, were you Team Rice-is-Fine or Team Rice-is-the-Problem, and did this change your mind?
I stay fully committed to getting us — and the people we love — to our 100s. I'll see ya in the 3000s.
