The First Attack - Sermon Only - September 27, 2026

Welcome to Orrville Christian Church! The message examines spiritual warfare through Genesis 3, focusing on Satan’s methods of deception and isolation. The speaker explains how subtle doubt, compromise, and distorted truth can lead people away from God. He contrasts humanity’s disobedience and attempts to hide sin with God’s compassionate call to confession. The message ultimately points to Jesus Christ as the promised Savior who defeats sin, death, and Satan, urging believers to remain alert, trust God’s Word, confess sin, and stay connected to God’s people. Key Points: Be alert and spiritually prepared. Real threats require real preparation, not paranoia. Satan’s primary work is deception. Satan also works through isolation. Humanity’s choice was disobedience. God responds with compassion and an invitation to confession. Confession means stopping hiding and blaming. Genesis 3:15 points to Christ’s victory over Satan. God provides deliverance through Jesus. Believers should remain alert, trust God’s Word, and stay connected to God’s people.
