What does your faith look like when nobody is watching?
In this challenging and thought-provoking sermon, Cole Tuck asks a question every Christian should seriously consider: Is your faith genuine, or is it simply a costume you put on when others are watching?
A Halloween costume can be put on and taken off. But genuine Christian faith isn't something we wear only at church. It should shape who we are at home, at work, online, in traffic, in difficult conversations, and in those private moments when no one else can see us. Cole examines two very different kinds of faith: faith that is an act and active faith that remains consistent even when no one is watching.
The sermon draws lessons from:
Ananias and Sapphira
David and Bathsheba
Uriah's consistent character
Jesus' teaching in Matthew 6
The challenge is personal: Who are you when you're completely alone? Jesus isn't looking for a performance. He calls us to a faith that is genuine, consistent, and lived every day.
