*Water…2L

Remove the leaves from the stems and wash them thoroughly 2–3 times with water to remove any dirt or debris.

📍 Shrimp Macaroni Gratin | Serves 4
Ingredients
Peeled shrimp…300g
Large onion…1 (thinly sliced)
Macaroni…160g
Butter…20g
White Sauce
Butter…50g
All-purpose flour…50g
Milk…700ml
Heavy cream…100ml
Consommé…2 tsp

① Boil the macaroni for 1 minute less than the package instructions.
② Melt 20g of butter in a frying pan and sauté the onion gently for about 10 minutes to bring out its sweetness.
③ Add the shrimp and sauté briefly until they change color, then remove them from the pan.
④ Melt 50g of butter in a saucepan, add the all-purpose flour, and cook for 1–2 minutes. Gradually add the milk while stirring; once the sauce thickens, add the heavy cream, bouillon, and salt.
⑤ Add the onion, shrimp, macaroni,
and cheese to the sauce and mix well.
⑥ Transfer to an ovenproof dish and top generously with cheese. If you have breadcrumbs, sprinkle a little on top.
⑦ Bake at 220℃ for 15 minutes, or until golden brown.
📍Carrot Salad
*Carrot…1 (approx. 150g)
*Raisins…30g
*Olive oil…1 tbsp
*Vinegar…1 tbsp
*Sugar…1 tbsp
*Salt…1/4 tsp
*Black pepper…a pinch
📝 Cut the carrot into thin matchsticks, sprinkle with salt, and let sit for 5–10 minutes. Gently squeeze out the excess moisture.
In a bowl, mix together the olive oil, vinegar, sugar, and black pepper.
Add the carrot and raisins (it’s best to soak them in hot water for a few minutes first) and toss to combine.
Let it sit for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld—it’ll taste even better.
