An Chéad Nollaig: “Home” (official music video)

"Home." A song from An Chéad Nollaig: The First Christmas, by James E. Burnett. Shannon walked the whole world as a child, from the grove of her mother the Moon to a stable in Bethlehem, with her brother beside her and an old Teacher to lead them. Now she is grown, and she has come back to walk the river that carries her name, from the morning mist down to where it runs into the sea. The journey comes back to her as she walks: the torchlit hall, the cliff and the little white sail, the desert and the one star over the ridge, and a small girl at a well who gave her the only doll she had. The story is in the book. More at jameseburnett.com
