Thursday Luminous Mysteries Rosary | October 1 | Holy Rosary Today | Prayer for Peace & Guidance

Pray the Luminous Mysteries of the Holy Rosary today, Thursday, October 1, as we begin a new month by asking God for peace, guidance, healing, and the grace to follow Jesus with greater trust. October holds a special place in Catholic devotion as the Month of the Holy Rosary, making this a beautiful time to renew our commitment to daily prayer and grow closer to Jesus through the Blessed Virgin Mary. Today the Catholic Church also celebrates the Memorial of Saint Thérèse of the Child Jesus, also known as St. Thérèse of Lisieux or the Little Flower. Her life reminds us that holiness can be found through simple acts of faith, love, humility, and complete trust in God. 📿 Today we pray the Luminous Mysteries: 🌹 The Baptism of Jesus in the Jordan 🌹 The Wedding Feast at Cana 🌹 The Proclamation of the Kingdom of God 🌹 The Transfiguration 🌹 The Institution of the Holy Eucharist 🙏 This Rosary is offered for: 🙏 God's guidance throughout this new month 🙏 Peace in our hearts, homes, and families 🙏 Those facing important decisions 🙏 Those searching for direction or purpose 🙏 Those praying for healing and restoration 🙏 Those struggling with fear or uncertainty 🙏 Those asking for greater trust in God's plan 🙏 Families in need of peace and protection 🙏 Those beginning October with a special prayer intention 🙏 Those seeking the intercession of St. Thérèse of Lisieux 🙏 All intentions held silently within our hearts The Luminous Mysteries invite us to walk with Jesus through His public ministry and allow His light to guide our lives. At the Jordan, the Father reveals His beloved Son. At Cana, Mary directs us toward Jesus with complete trust. Christ proclaims the Kingdom of God and calls us to conversion. On Mount Tabor, His glory is revealed. And at the Last Supper, Jesus gives us Himself in the Holy Eucharist. As October begins, we may not know what this month will bring. There may be decisions ahead, prayers still unanswered, people we are worried about, or situations we cannot control. Bring them into this Rosary. St. Thérèse reminds us that following God does not always require extraordinary acts. We can love Him through the small things, trust Him one day at a time, and offer even the ordinary moments of our lives with love. May this new month bring you closer to Jesus. May today's Holy Rosary bring peace where there is anxiety, guidance where there is uncertainty, healing where there is pain, and renewed trust in God's loving plan. Throughout this Month of the Holy Rosary, may we deepen our devotion to this beautiful Catholic prayer and allow Mary to continually lead us closer to her Son, Jesus Christ.
