And this part of the journey turned out to be far more unpredictable. From the passenger and seating situation at Keylong to Baralacha La, Bharatpur, Sarchu, Pang, More Plains and Tanglang La, this film captures the journey as I actually experienced it — beautiful landscapes, snowfall, changing weather, high altitude, AMS symptoms, basic food stops, an overcrowded roadways bus and even an unexpected bus puncture along the way. This isn't just about showing the beautiful side of the Manali–Leh Highway. I've tried to show the reality of travelling from Keylong to Leh in an ordinary HRTC bus — the adventure as well as the discomforts and challenges you should know about before planning this journey.
