After making our way through some of the toughest and most remote parts of Cape York, we finally reach the northernmost point of mainland Australia. In this episode, we take the shortcut from Weipa to Telegraph Road via Batavia Downs Road, spend a couple of nights at Bramwell Station, find ourselves camping at a gravel pit for the night, and eventually arrive at the stunning Alau Campground — our base for exploring the very top of Australia. We spend a few days exploring the area and finally get to stand at the Tip, before beginning the long journey south. And Cape York isn't quite finished with us yet… a two-hour wait at the infamous Jardine River Ferry adds another little adventure before we finally start heading south. Unfortunately, the weather turns and work is calling, so our journey back south is much quicker than we'd planned. This episode also marks the end of our Cape York adventure for now. Life is changing a little for us at the moment. We're both back at work, and Charlie now needs one of us with her at all times, so our ability to get out and film will be limited for the next couple of months. We'd really appreciate your patience while we navigate this next chapter. ❤️ We'll still be here, and we'll be back out exploring as soon as we can. Thanks so much for coming along with us on this incredible journey. If you enjoyed the video, don't forget to like, subscribe and come along for whatever adventure comes next!
