Decode With Sudhir Chaudhary: The Flydubai FZ1073 attack investigation has revealed chilling allegations about Omani co-pilot Hamam al-Hammami. According to Israeli officials cited by Reuters, he allegedly told UAE interrogators that he had planned the attack even before joining Flydubai and had specifically looked for an airline operating flights to Tel Aviv. Investigators are also examining reports that he had earlier considered hijacking a Tel Aviv-bound flight and crashing it into Ben Gurion Airport, but abandoned that plan. Reports now suggest that on September 30, he allegedly intended to kill Captain Smit Machchhar, continue the flight normally and only near Ben Gurion Airport deliberately crash the aircraft. The investigation is ongoing, and the reported details have not yet been tested in court.
