Oct 2 Jantar Mantar protest against SIR and Election Commission irregularities is back in Delhi after Yogendra Yadav’s public call. Delhi Bela Estate voter list deletion — 727 of 728 names cut from the Yamuna jhuggi cluster — has become the sharpest ground example in the SIR controversy. Election Commission Gyanesh Kumar, voter roll revision, and the right to vote of homeless and slum residents are now at the centre of a national political fight. This video, presented by Balakrishnan Activist, puts the four threads together without the noise. On 28 September, PTI recorded Yogendra Yadav urging people to gather at Jantar Mantar on 2 October at 11 AM against SIR and alleged irregularities in the Election Commission. That call comes days after police detained Yadav, Prashant Bhushan, Neha Bora, Anjali Bhardwaj, Dipankar Bhattacharya and others near Jantar Mantar and Patel Chowk on 25 September. Delhi Police said there was no permission and Section 163 was in force. Detainees were later released. On the ground, India Today’s report from Bela Estate / Bela Ghat shows families living under a bridge on the Yamuna, without regular electricity or water, holding old voter IDs and previous electoral rolls. Congress and Rahul Gandhi say 728 people live there and that after SIR only one name remains. Residents say they voted in the 2024 Lok Sabha and 2025 Delhi elections. Their homes were demolished in 2022–23, but they did not leave. The Election Commission’s reply is different. Most addresses were listed as “Agriculture.” Farming stopped in 2021. Dwellings were demolished. Booth Level Officers marked electors as demolished structure / absent-shifted. EC says Form-6 camps were held, hundreds applied again, the claims window was extended, and the final roll is due on 4 November. The legal argument is simple and brutal: no house at the registered address, no ordinary residence. The political argument is equally simple: no house does not mean no vote — including for people the Commission itself has described under “House Number 0” for the homeless. Around the same protest date, a separate clip circulating on X frames 2 October as “Jantar Mantar 2.0” and talks of anarchy in Delhi. The video attached to that post actually shows activists and protest boards demanding CEC Gyanesh Kumar go, SIR be cancelled, and voter deletions be explained. The caption does the opposite — mockery and a call to “welcome” the gathering. That is not reporting. That is mobilisation against the protest. A fourth clip from West Bengal shows chaos inside a hall, with a caption claiming Hindu youth shouted “RSS go back” at an RSS-linked programme — that they vanish when Hindus are in trouble and appear when the goal is polarisation. Treat that clip as viral and unverified until time, place, and organisers are independently confirmed. It belongs in the same week of heat, not as proven fact. What you will see in this video: Yogendra Yadav’s October 2 Jantar Mantar appeal Why 25 September detentions matter for the next gathering Bela Estate numbers, resident documents, and EC’s demolished-home explanation The clash between “clean the roll” and “don’t delete the poor” How protest footage is being recut into a street confrontation narrative What is confirmed, what is alleged, and what still needs verification Watch till the end. The question is not only who shouts louder on 2 October. It is whether a demolished jhuggi can erase a citizen who already voted. #jantarmantar #October2Protest #sir #electioncommission #gyaneshkumar #BelaEstate #voterlist #voterdeletion #yogendrayadav #rahulgandhi #delhinews #VoteChori #electoralroll #indiapolitics #BalakrishnanActivist MAA NATURALS FERTILITY WELLNESS CENTRE Head Office Chennai Contact: 7550005857/9043464054 Address: No116, 2nd Floor, Sri Devi Kuppam Main Road, Valasaravakkam, Chennai -600087.
