ASMR Silk Fabric Sounds 🇯🇵| The Kimono I Wear for Tea Ceremony, Getting Dressed, No Talking

Fabric sounds, no music,no talking — the dry, grainy rustle of a silk tsumugi kimono, recorded up close in a quiet room in Japan. No whispering, no mic touching, no performance: just someone actually getting dressed. This is the same kimono I am wearing in my tea ceremony videos. Tsumugi is woven from slubby silk threads, so it does not glide the way smooth silk does — it catches on itself and makes small, dry ticking sounds as it moves. The obi is a Nagoya obi with a tsujigahana-style pattern, after an old Japanese tie-dye and painted-motif technique, and it snaps a little more sharply than the light summer obi from last time. Just before the first minute, my cat wanders in to see what I am doing. No sound, no comment — just a look, and then gone. I left it in. 🎧 Recorded binaurally — headphones recommended. ▬▬▬ Sounds in this video ▬▬▬ ・Dry, grainy rustle of slubby tsumugi silk ・Small ticking sounds as the weave catches on itself ・Cords (himo) being pulled and tied ・Kimono clips clicking open and closed ・A silk Nagoya obi being folded, smoothed and tied ・Quiet room ambience, no music, no talking ▬▬▬ Chapters ▬▬▬ 0:00 Getting into the kimono 1:42 Tying the silk cords 4:35 Wrapping the obi 7:06 The obi pillow (makura) ▬▬▬ About this channel ▬▬▬ Japan Quietscapes is a Japanese ambience and soundscape channel — real, original recordings from a tea ceremony room and from quiet daily life in Japan.
