Pacific Crest Trail, Ebbetts Pass to Carson-Iceberg Wilderness, Sierra Nevada. Day 74, Mile 1037.4-1061.6. Not a vlog. No talking, no music, no narration. Just visuals and sounds from the trail. It is a unique "parasitic" plant that doesn't use photosynthesis to grow, which is why it lacks green leaves. Instead, it gets its nutrients by tapping into underground networks of fungi that are attached to the roots of pine trees. 00:16:21 - Epic vista north of the Mokelumne Wilderness.
