BTS05 Why Abraham Counted Stars At Noon

God tells Abram to count the stars, but the sky is bright daylight. Why? In Session 5 of our Bible study, we follow Abraham from Ur to Canaan and discover the three promises that anchor the whole Bible: land, a kingdom, and blessing for all nations. We meet the mysterious priest-king Melchizedek, see what a covenant really means (and why God alone walks between the pieces), and walk up Mount Moriah with Abraham and Isaac, where we learn that God provides the Lamb. Along the way: where do we keep our own “insurance policies,” and where has God provided something we never saw coming?
