Cobb Vanth + Cara Dune Counter Thrawn L9 Empire (3v3) | GAC Archive

Thrawn L9, Darth Vader and Moff Gideon make for a dangerous current Empire defense — but this matchup gave me a reason to bring out a very different counter. Cobb Vanth leads the Constables with Coruscant Underworld Police and Cara Dune. And Cara Dune is the key to making this work. Her kit has particularly strong utility against Empire enemies, making her an excellent fit for a matchup built around three Imperial characters. Put that together with Cobb Vanth's Constables and his older L9 Datacron, and this otherwise unusual-looking squad becomes a very practical answer to Thrawn's current L9 defense. The question was whether an older Cobb Vanth Datacron and Cara Dune's anti-Empire tools could still compete with one of the new Empire L9 setups. They could.
