2026/02/02 Practicing Landings at KVPC

Finally had a decent weather day to go fly. I decided to go practice some landings up at the Cartersville Airport. Definitely was better weather than my last day flying at Paulding County. I wasn't super impressed with my performance while flying but looking back I thought I actually did better than I gave myself credit for in the moment. I did overspeed the flaps by a tiny bit on one of the take offs and almost did on another as well. I think I'm going to make it a rule to not pull back power until I have retracted the flaps. I also am working on something that I can hopefully share in the near future to help improve the chances of not forgetting in the future.
