A full-day motorbike ride from Bangkok to Pranburi to find Thailand's abandoned Boeing 747 — Thai Airways HS-TGP "Thepprasit", a 747-400 delivered in 1994, retired in 2020, trucked down in pieces and re-bolted in a field near Pak Nam Pran. I climb in through the nose-gear bay, walk the wing, check out the stripped cargo hold and the (mostly fake) cockpit, then ride home through two rainstorms.
Bike: hired Honda CB500F · Route: Rama II Rd (Rte 35) → Samut Sakhon → Rte 4 Phetchaburi → Cha-am → Hua Hin bypass (Rte 37) → Pranburi · ~215 km each way
