The Wicked King and the Son of Anau for orchestra

It is based by the Sumateran fairy tales about the King of Anau named Aniayo, a wicked and cruel King, against his son, Bujang Paman. According to the tale, the King disposes his wife to the jungle and seize her treasures to himself for gambling. There in the forest, Bujang Paman is born and seek justice for his mother to avenge King Aniayo. Though the folklore is from Padang, but the composition is indirectly inspired by Acehnese folksong Bungong Jeumpa.
