Reusable Sanitary Kit Distribution

We’ve received more wonderful donations of kits from Australia which enabled me to give out over 100 Sanitary Kits to the students in grades 8 & 9 at the local school and almost 50 kits to the hard working women at our local hospital in Telefomin, Sandaun Province, PNG. Each kit will save a woman over $200 in buying expensive and hard to get sanitary products over the 2-3 years that the kits should last for. The kits will ensure the students do not miss their classes out of fear of showing a stain through their clothes, and they will enable the hospital staff to care for patients with confidence. There have been times in the past where the hospital has run out of funds and the staff have not been paid. However, many of the women see their work as a ministry and continued to work even without getting paid.
