How to Study for Finals With Anki (Setup Guide)

How to study for finals with Anki: one deck per exam, a new-card limit you can keep up with (the manual's 20 new = about 200 reviews a day), short cards, cloze and Image Occlusion, and two prompts that let a free chatbot draft cards you check. Then what to do when reviews pile up, a week-before plan and a 3-day plan. 📋 PROMPTS FROM THIS VIDEO (copy and paste) 5:18 Prompt 1 — Review sheet → cards Here is my review sheet for my [course] final: [paste review sheet]. Turn it into Anki flashcards. One fact per card. Each question should be something an exam could ask, and each answer should be under 15 words. Only use information that appears in my review sheet. Do not add facts. Output one card per line in this format: question;answer 5:47 Prompt 2 — Missed questions → weak cards Here are practice questions I got wrong, with the correct answers: [paste questions and answers]. For each one, write one short Anki card that tests the idea I missed, not the exact question. Keep each answer under 15 words. Output one card per line in this format: question;answer;weak Import tip: save the output as a plain text (.txt) file in UTF-8, then File → Import, set the field separator to Semicolon and pick your exam deck. For prompt 2, map the third column to Tags. Read every card before you study it. Chatbots make mistakes.
